Commercialbank Holds its 3rd Graduation Ceremony in 2006 to Acknowledge 114 of its Employees Wednesday 15th November 2006
114 members of Commercialbank staff celebrated gaining professional certification .and successful completion of select core banking programs in their respective fields. The celebration that took place on Monday November 13th at the Doha Sheraton Hotel was attended by Commercialbank Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Andy Stevens, as well as senior executive members of the bank. The accreditation certificates covered crucial 4 areas:
- Certified Branch Managers (CBM), with 11 Managers accredited by the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial sciences in association with Institute of Certified Bankers, USA (ICB).
- Certified Lender business Banker, CLBB, with 8 bank officers accredited by the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial sciences in Association with Institute of Certified Bankers, USA (ICB).
- Certified Financial Marketer, CFM, with 16 bank officers accredited by the American Academy of Financial Management (AAFM).
- Certified wealth Management, CWM, with 4 Managers accredited by the International Institute of Research (IIR).

Another 77 Commercialbank staff also celebrated and were awarded training certificates for successful completion of select 5 core banking programmes as follows:
- Principles of Islamic Banking conducted by “Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF),
- Credit Risk Masterclass conducted by “DC Gardner Training, Europe.
- Consumer Credit Training conducted by “ABN Amro Bank”
- Accounting for Derivatives conducted by “Euromoney Training - Europe”
- Mortgage Advisor Training conducted in-house by Commercialbank’s Mortgage Department.

At the accreditation ceremony, Commercialbank’s graduate management trainees who are under a rigorous 2-year programme were also recognized.
