Credit Shield Plus is an enhancement to your existing cover to protect you in unforeseen and adverse circumstances. You'll be reassured to know that with Credit Shield Plus, the amount you owe will be taken care of should the worst happen. This means that in times where you or your family is unable to meet your liabilities, your credit card outstanding is taken care of. Credit Shield Plus will waive off the amount you owe to the bank on your Commercialbank Credit Cards if:-
- Permanent Disability or Death due to any cause
- Loss of Employment

For a nominal monthly charge, you have all the peace of mind benefits of Credit Shield Plus.
Enrolment
Commercialbank cardholders are automatically enrolled for Credit Shield Plus.
All outstandings of the principle and any supplementary cards are included up to the limit specified below. The cost is a nominal 59 Dirhams for every QR 100 statemented at the month end.

Purchases up to USD 500 are covered, subject to a maximum of four claims in a year per cardholder and not exceeding USD 2,000 in all.

Purchases up to USD 2,000 per item are covered subject to a maximum of five claims per year per cardholder and not exceeding USD 10,000 in all

Death Cover
|
100% of credit card outstanding or credit limit, whichever is lower, subject to a maximum of QR 100,000

100% of credit card outstanding or credit limit, whichever is lower, subject to a maximum of QR 100,000
